My story

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. It was an aggressive type of cancer and went from stage 2 to stage 4 in a year. I saw countless doctors, conventional and holistic, and heard different opinions on how to approach my health. A lot of the advice was conflicting but one of the things both sides agreed on was that mindset was very important. I spent the next few years reading about psychology and health. I learned about visualization and the power of energy and belief.

The tumor had grown to the size of a tennis ball and the pain was becoming worse and happened more often. I began practicing meditation and using affirmation tracks by Belleruth Naparstek on cancer and chemotherapy.

At times, I would feel pain where the tumor was, so much that I would cry. As I sat meditating in pain, with tears falling from closed eyes, I thanked my body for showing me that it needed attention.

I kept in mind an image of myself bathed in golden light, smiling, happy and energetic. I knew that this was important for me to do this regularly, regardless of how I felt at the moment.

Eventually, I received chemotherapy that shrunk the tumor to nothing. When I asked my oncologist why I hadn't received this medicine before – (I had been on a different type of chemotherapy for five months prior) – he said that not everyone responds the same way. I was one of the fortunate ones to have had something that worked for me so well.

After four years of chemotherapy, fatigue is something I deal with every single day. I was vigilant in improving my diet and very proactive in researching and trying many different therapies at home or with a practitioner.

After all of the constant self-care and high focus on my health, I became set on redesigning my life so that I wanted to live it instead of just surviving through it. I began to express myself through art, painting images of triumph and success.  I saw improvement in myself and my energy.

One morning, I was out exercising and realized at that moment that I became what I held in my mind. I was standing in golden sunlight, smiling, happy and energetic. Fatigue is still something I deal with every day, but I continue to visualize myself as having all the energy I need.

I have a nephew who has autism. For years, he acted out in school, showed signs of aggression, and got poor weekly reports from his teachers. I painted a portrait of him and used a photo that was one of the last ones I have of him smiling, engaged, and responsive.

While I painted this, I held him in mind with loving, positive thoughts. I saw him as a young man, healed and happy, whatever that means for him.

Since this painting was done in March 2022, he has shown signs of improvement; he's less sensitive to stimuli, more responsive and engaged and even started to make eye contact. It had been years since he's looked directly at me. I have his portrait in my office where I see it most of the day and it's a reminder to continue to hold him in mind as his higher self.

**I want to emphasize that a Reiki painting is a tool that should be used regularly for best results. Similar to exercise, the benefits may not be immediately noticeable until it becomes a consistent practice. However, when I use a Reiki painting to send positive energy to myself or others, I often receive feedback that there has been an improvement in the mindset or physical well-being of the subject. While the changes may be temporary, involving more people and consistently in this practice could yield even greater benefits.

I realized what I was creating were Reiki paintings. I've seen the power of art and sending positive energy to myself and others. I provide this service to empower others, and bridge science and spirituality together through the use of Reiki and quantum physics.

Consider the potential of Reiki paintings to illuminate your path and for your loved ones as well. Similar to vision boards of what you want in your life, these paintings are made with intention. What would you want to manifest? How would you like your dreams realized on canvas?
