Reiki Painting FAQs
What’s the difference between Reiki and Reiki paintings?
They are essentially the same but with Reiki paintings, you receive a tool and the tool is the Reiki painting. As a Reiki painting is made, positive energy is added with every stroke. I do this from start to finish with each piece.
What’s the difference between custom Reiki paintings and Paintings That Manifest?
Custom Reiki paintings are life-affirming works and are custom-made to order. To start the process of getting one made for you, complete the form on the Inquiry page.
Paintings That Manifest are ready-made works with words etched into the beginning layer(s) of paint, which are recited while creating, using inspiring images with themes like joy, peace, success, victory, and more.
Is a Reiki painting for me?
I know I’m speaking to some of you who this resonates with, those who are invested in their own healing and development, and who are looking for a way to become empowered and empower others.
How do I commission a Reiki painting?
We discuss the subject of the portrait, the person or pet, and the issue or desire by phone or email. Since the topic can be personal, you can tell me as much as you wish to share. I visualize, pray/affirm and listen to affirmations, frequencies and songs as I create them. You can book an appointment via Zoom or phone here
How long does a Reiki portrait painting take?
Depending on the size and complexity, the turnaround time is about 8-10 weeks (to allow for drying time) after the concept/image is agreed on and a deposit is made. Please contact me well in advance, so we can work together to get you what you need when you need it.
Can I rely only on these Reiki paintings for healing?
According to Neuroscientist Pierre Lemarquis, there is “scientific evidence that tells us art can change the brain and the body and advance well-being in ways that can be measured, mapped, and put into practice….You need medicine that’s purely scientific to address the illness, and medicine that’s a little artistic, to address the person, their humanity. The two are complementary. People need to dream. They need imagination.”
It is a very personal choice of what you decide for healing, that responsibility and decision rest on you. I don’t make promises but offer you a tool to empower you.
A Reiki painting is an anchor point and once it’s handed over, it’s up to you to focus on the desired outcome, to be open to the possibilities, and to gather the proof that it’s happening.
I want to emphasize that a Reiki painting is a tool that should be used regularly for best results. Similar to working out, the benefits may not be immediately noticeable until it becomes a consistent practice. However, when I use a Reiki painting to send positive energy to myself or others, I often receive feedback that there has been an improvement in mindset or physical well-being. While the changes may be temporary, involving more people and on a consistent basis in this practice could yield even greater benefits.
Of course, there are no guarantees, and how and when things unfold are to be seen. For example, a person may have multiple issues to recover from and the healing process can unfold at different times.
